Discover a Different Way to Move

Molly’s Power Yoga for Dancers Have you ever wondered what your body could learn from a movement practice beyond dance? As dancers, we spend years refining technique, building strength, and working toward greater control. But exploring a different practice can give us another opportunity to notice how we move, connect with our breath, and challenge ourselves in unfamiliar ways.

Molly’s Power Yoga class combines strength, balance, breath, and movement through a dynamic practice. During the class, you can expect:

Expect longer posture holds, challenging transitions

A faster pace.

Opportunities to explore arm balances

Modifications to support different levels of practice

Mollie Oates-Johnson

Mollie is an Honours Psychology student at Mount Saint Vincent University and a Yoga, Pilates, and fitness Instructor at Oxygen Yoga & Fitness in Nova Scotia, Canada. She graduated from the Alberta Ballet School’s Professional Division and Professional Graduate Programs, and performed with Ballet Jorgen’s Junior Company. With 3 years of teaching yoga, an extensive background in professional ballet training, and recent immersion into psychology practice, Mollie’s approach blends grace, strength, mindfulness, and self-belief.
